How do I use my Drybar hair tool internationally?

Most Drybar tools are intended for use only in the U.S. and Canada with a standard 120V/60Hz power supply.

The following tools SHOULD NOT be used outside of the U.S. and Canada, even with a voltage converter or transformer:

  • Buttercup Blow-Dryer
  • Drybar Reserve Ultralight Anti-Frizz Blow-Dryer
  • The Double Shot Oval Blow-Dryer Brush
  • The Mixologist Interchangeable Styling Iron
  • The Single Shot Round Blow-Dryer Brush
  • The 3-Day Bender Curling Iron
  • The Wrap Party Styling Wand

The following travel tools CAN be used internationally with a plug adaptor:

  • Baby Buttercup Travel Blow-Dryer
  • The Baby Brush Crush Mini Heated Straightening Brush
  • The Tiny Tress Press Detailing Iron
  • The Tress Press Straightening Iron

Failure to follow these guidelines will void the warranty

What if I have a problem with my Drybar tool? Is there a warranty?

We hope you will not need it, but just in case, your Drybar tool is warrantied for two years from the day you purchase it.

What is not covered by the warranty?

This warranty does not cover the following:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage due to misuse and abuse such as dropping, incorrect voltage supply, or neglect in safety precaution
  • Tampering, such as repair or attempted repair by an unauthorized party
  • Neglect or lack of proper maintenance
  • Damage to cord
  • Modification, neglect or poor maintenance, misuse, abuse, or involvement in accidents or natural disasters
  • Damage occurring during shipment of the product (such claims must be presented directly to the shipping company)
  • Damage or deterioration to the surface finish, aesthetics, or appearance of the product
  • Tools for which the Customer does not follow the warranty procedures outlined above
  • Tampering & misuse with transformers, voltage converters, plug adapters, or with alternative power supplies internationally (outside US, Mexico, or Canada), except for tools that have been specifically designed for international use

It is the Customer's responsibility to regularly examine the product to determine the need for normal service or replacement. Additional details can be found in our warranty
